What are you making space for?

In neuroanatomy class, they teach us the difference between a hemorrhagic stroke versus an ischemic stroke.

Hemorrhagic is worse because it means there’s excess blood pooling into the same space the brain lives. There’s no room for that.

This creates a vasospasm which leads to other cardiovascular pathologies.

The head is like a container.

It’s meant to hold space for the brain. Anything else is uninvited.
